Abstrak: MTs An-Nashuha is a private educational institution that has a future education orientation. The Madrasah is a pesantren-based educational institution that has good quality of education. Quality is very important for an institution. To create a quality education institution, it takes a long time and begins with the increasing quality of its resources, especially educators who have a role in managing Education Institution. Based on this, researcher aims to describe and analyze the strategic management of the head of MTs An-Nashuha. Researchers will focus on environmental analysis, formulation strategic of strategic implementation, evaluation and strategic control in improving the quality of education. This research is a descriptive-qualitative study, and MTs An-Nashuha is the site of research. The writer used observations, interviews, documentation, triangulation and FGD as data collection techniques. Qualitative data analysis techniques are used in this study. The author performs three threads of activity; data reduction, data presentation and verification. In addition, the author also uses SWOT analysis procedure. The validity techniques of data used are internal and external validation test techniques, reusability testing and data objectivity testing. The results showed that: 1) analysis of internal environment and analysis of external environment used are SWOT analysis, Matrix TOWS, CSI, and CSF. 2) Strategic formulation is conducted to improve the quality of education with the strategic selection of the program of superior class, strategic quality improvement program of educators and educational personnel, strategic curriculum program, strategic programs student, strategic program of facilities and infrastructure, strategic public relations program and Program of Madrasah and Foundations Committee. 3) Strategic implementation is conducted by implementing a superior class program, conducting an improvement program for the quality of educators and education, executing curriculum programs, implementing student programs, executing program of facilities and Infrastructure, implementing public relations programs, conducting programs for Madrasah and foundation committees. 4) Evaluation and strategic control are conducted by holding a thorough evaluation meeting, monitoring every activity conducted, supervise, and performance measurements are performed intensively. The implications is getting quality improvement of education with indicators: increased achievement, increased effectiveness of the process of KBM, increasing number of learners, and the fulfillment of facilities and infrastructure Learning according to the SNP.
