Abstrak: This research was motivated by a situation in class IV at MDTA Al-Falah 2 Sindanglaut, the behavior of students who were less disciplined in learning such as not paying attention when the teacher was teaching in class, going in and out during class hours, and not doing the assigned tasks. give both assignments at school and at home, and there are still some students who underestimate and lack enthusiasm in learning in class, so why is it necessary to improve learning discipline. From these problems, teachers, especially Islamic Religious Education teachers, have the duty and obligation to improve student learning discipline which aims to determine the learning discipline of Class IV students at MDTA Al-Falah 2 Sindanglaut, to find out the teacher's efforts in improving learning discipline at MDTA Al-Falah 2 Sindanglaut, to find out the things that support and hinder teachers in an effort to foster learning discipline for fourth grade students at MDTA Al-Falah 2 Sindanglaut. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The reason for choosing this type is because in this study the researchers sought to explore data in the form of respondents' views in the form of original stories and data from observations in the field related to student learning discipline and what efforts were made by Islamic religious teachers in improving the learning discipline of fourth grade students at MDTA Al- Falah 2 Sindanglaut. The method used in collecting this data is to use the interview, observation, and documentation method, the interview method is used to find out information about how the efforts of Islamic Religious Education teachers to improve learning discipline, the observation method, to observe directly how the efforts of Islamic Religious Education teachers in improving student learning discipline, documentation method, to find out school profile, facilities and infrastructure, teacher and student data and location plan. As for the primary and secondary sources, the primary sources are Islamic Religious Education teachers while the secondary sources are fourth grade students. The results showed that the efforts of Islamic religious education teachers in improving the discipline of fourth grade students were by emphasizing on students through habituation activities, examples and examples, awareness, supervision or control as well as students in the culture of praying together before studying, reading short letters, solawat. Asmaul Husna and habituation of good manners, good manners. In the end, it is hoped that in the future students will gain general knowledge, they will also gain spiritual knowledge that can be used as provisions later when they are in the community, so that the main goal is to form graduates of children who have good morals.
